Which Office Covers You — and Who Issues Your Permit

Two things decide how a job runs before anyone quotes it: which of our offices is closest, and which building department has to sign it off. Permitting is the part most homeowners never think about until it holds up a water heater replacement — and in this region it varies by address, not by mailing city.

The beach cities each permit separately and add coastal review, so the address matters more here than almost anywhere else in the region.

My city isn't listed — do you still cover me?

Very likely. The pages above cover the cities we work in most often, but our five-county service area includes plenty of smaller communities without a page of their own — Mango, Dover and Thonotosassa are covered by our Seffner page, for example. Do you charge extra for travel to outlying areas?

Our two offices are positioned to cover both sides of the bay — St. Petersburg for Pinellas and the beaches, Lithia for eastern Hillsborough, Polk and the south county. Whatever the distance, the price you approve in writing before work begins is the price, so there are no travel surprises added afterwards. Who issues my plumbing permit?

It depends on your street address, not your mailing city. Incorporated cities generally permit their own work; unincorporated areas go through the county. Barrier-island and waterfront addresses often carry additional coastal or flood-zone review. Water heater replacements, repipes and sewer work almost always require a permit — we determine the correct jurisdiction before quoting and pull it as part of the job under licence FL #CFC1433820.

Are you really available 24 hours a day?

Yes — we answer emergency calls at 727-265-9639 around the clock, including nights, weekends and holidays.
